Integration through Yoga
Unite, integrate. That is the objective of Yoga, a science that demonstrates the integration between body, mind, and spirit as a way to a harmonious life. We are talking about a kind of knowledge considered to be over five thousand years old and which has increasingly guided people’s search for balance. The practice has been used in PRÓ-VIDA since 1981, as a guideline suggested by Dr. Celso Charuri, conceiver and founder of the Movement. It combines two techniques: the Indian Hatha Yoga and the Chinese Do-in.
The Yoga practice in PRÓ-VIDA consists of a physical activity that allows participants to be together and also as an opportunity for self-knowledge.
Today, there are about 100 instructors who volunteer to conduct the activities online and in-person to members of PRÓ-VIDA of different ages, from different countries and continents, such as the Americas, Asia, and Europe.
