Work, a flag
Work, a flag
Sunset offers a moment of silence, perhaps to balance the work carried out throughout the day.
In the succession of sunsets and dawns, there is humanity and the constant search for happiness, as a daily invitation to verify one’s achievements and the consecutive possibilities for transformation.
And, between days and nights, the 1st of May takes place every year, a day dedicated to reflection on work.
On Labor Day, PRÓ-VIDA has celebrated, for 43 years, the infinitely positive balance of the act manifested, of donating oneself in favor of others, whether in time, money, hours of voluntary work… It is the Tithe’s transformative action, well defined in the idea of Dr. Celso Charuri: “The privilege of being in the hands of those who give.”
Therefore, the Centrais do Dízimo (Centers for the Tithe) in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Italy, and Portugal present their figures in a General Meeting, the result of work whose power is fulfilled in the happiness of many, converting amounts spontaneously deposited by anonymous donors into movable assets and improvement of immovable assets; objects that time and their use will naturally wear out, but will be kept alive by example.
And in this way, in the silence of each sunset, before the natural invitation to analyze results, the PRÓ-VIDA movement continues to offer itself in usefulness, being able to brighten days, sunsets, nights, and dawns, keeping its flag of work strong and peace among men of goodwill.
