Dr. Celso Charuri
There are many ways to get to know Dr. Celso Charuri.
We can tell you that he was born on June 11, 1940, in São Paulo (Brazil), son of Elias and Anita Charuri. But we can also say that he gave birth to an ideal of a world of peace, that is just and possible for everyone.
We can say that Dr. Celso spent his childhood and adolescence in his hometown, he practiced martial arts, was interested in music, languages and psychoanalysis. And we can tell you that, at that same time, he was already looking for the reason why humanity existed, its history, and the way it was experienced.
We can say that Dr. Celso graduated with a degree in Medicine from the Federal University of Paraná, located in Curitiba, in 1968. And we can also say that he deeply observed the ideas of the great minds that passed over the face of the Earth, and, after seeing that they all followed the same path of knowledge, developed a method designed to increase consciousness and discover the real meaning of life.
We can say that Dr. Celso had the profession of a gynecologist and obstetrician. And also say that he worked to demonstrate that people have mental capacities which, when well developed, increase knowledge about themselves and the environment they live in.
We can say that in 1970, Dr. Celso saw his patients in an office located in the Moóca neighborhood, in São Paulo. And recall that it was in that same office that he, for the first time, taught 14 friends, in October 1977, the mental development and training program he had created. And add that, in August the following year, Dr. Celso founded Pró-Mente, which in 1979 was renamed PRÓ-VIDA.
We can say that Dr. Celso married Jeanette Chohfi, had two daughters and died on December 20, 1981. And now, we can affirm that Dr. Celso gave his life to show the path to happiness and teach, by his example, how to walk it.
