CGD-PV (General Center for the Tithe – PRÓ-VIDA) will build the 15th Dr. Celso Charuri Vocational School in Brazil, in the city of Londrina, Paraná State: an Information Technology (IT) Technical School, which will be donated to Senai (National Service for Industrial Learning), one of the world’s largest professional education complexes. The agreement was signed on December 6, 2021, at a meeting at the PRÓ-VIDA Headquarters, in the city of São Paulo, Brazil.

The construction of vocational schools by CGD-PV is part of a project created by the conceiver and founder of PRÓ-VIDA, Dr. Celso Charuri. These schools provide people with quality professional training that gives them the opportunity to work and, therefore, to improve their living conditions, as well as those of their families, in addition to contributing to the environment in which they live. “Training is fundamental to take men out of a condition of dependence. A school like this improves society as a whole, improves the whole world”, said Nelson Costa, member of the PRÓ-VIDA Council.
The project foresees a four-story building with approximately 8,000 square meters of built-up area. The school will offer, in addition to professional courses in the IT area, higher education, postgraduate and master’s degrees. It will have a floor specially dedicated to a start-up incubator and the Technology HUB.
The next steps in the school’s construction process will be the completion of the executive project and opening of the call notice for construction companies.
